How much do you know about environmental protection paper?

Green paper and general wood pulp paper manufacturing process is roughly the same, the main difference is that the raw materials required for environmental protection paper and the entire manufacturing process are in line with the requirements of international environmental standards, the following we introduce environmental protection paper for users.

Recycled paper

In general, paper is made of wood mixed with other materials such as cotton, water, etc., and then processed. Recycled paper is made from waste materials instead of wood.

The waste can be divided into PRE-Consume Waste and POST-Consume WASTE. What is the difference between the two?

All raw materials that have been printed or manufactured without being used can be called "pre-use scraps," such as paper trimmings. “Post-use waste” is paper that has been printed or abandoned in the office or home, such as office waste paper. If these waste papers are no longer made, they will be burned or buried in waste landfills.

We often see two different symbols on some recycled paper prints. Is there any difference between them?

There is a difference. The arrow on the left has three arrows in the circle to indicate that the paper has been reconstructed and is itself a recycled paper; in the right figure, no circle indicates that the paper can be recycled, but it is not recycled paper itself.

Chlorine-free dyeing paper

In fact, chlorine (CHLORINE) is used to bleach paper, but since some substances in the chlorine-mixed wood pulp will produce substances harmful to the human body and the environment during the bleaching and dyeing process, there are many papers manufactured in countries that do not use chlorine gas. Use some more natural materials to bleach the paper. This technology is ELEMENTAL CHLORINE FREE (ECF) and TOTALLY CHLORINE FREE (TCF). Although chlorine-free bleaching paper does not belong to recycled paper, it also helps protect the environment. It is also the watch of eco-friendly paper.

Industrial Waste Scrap Paper

Apart from the general consumer post-consumer waste (such as letter paper, newspapers, magazines, etc.), in fact, many post-industrial wastes that are not familiar to the average consumer are also eco-friendly paper materials. The most common of these are commonly known as bagasse. Sugar cane is not only a natural plant. Bagasse left by the manufacture of related foods can be reused for papermaking, otherwise they are also disposed of at landfills or burned.

Replanting forest paper

Many advanced countries such as Europe and the United States have realized that long-term and unplanned deforestation of trees cannot be used for papermaking. Therefore, long ago, they have begun to take materials from replanted forests. All the trees planted in replanted forests are managed in a comprehensive manner to ensure adequate and healthy supplies of deforested trees. For example, after a thorough plan and calculation, each tree felled at the same time or in the previously planned plan to grow other trees for supplementation. This will ensure that the natural forest will not be destroyed, but it will also help the greening environment.

No wood paper

The most common is pure cotton paper. Such paper uses natural cotton as a material, or uses discarded clothing, takes its cotton fiber as paper, and makes full use of natural resources and waste.

No acidic paper

The acid-free paper produced in an alkaline environment, in addition to avoiding the internal spoilage of the paper due to its age, adds calcium carbonate to make the paper more resistant to the external acidic environment.

Lignin-free paper

Lignin is found in all cellulose-containing plants, and these lignin can be washed off during the production of pulp. The lignin will weaken the paper fibers and fade easily. For example, newspapers in the sun will turn yellow because of the lignin in the pulp.
