For bolts that have been rusted or have more grease, often use a solvent (such as loose rust) to spray bolts and nut joints, allowing the solvent to penetrate into the threads, which will be easy to disassemble. If you can not remove the bolt, you can use heating method, heating temperature is generally controlled below 200 °C. By heating, the clearance between the nut and the bolt is increased, and the rusted material is also easily dropped, making it easier to disassemble the bolt. If the above method is not available, only the bolt is broken, the bolt is cut or drilled, and the new bolt is replaced at the time of assembly. The new bolts must be the same as the ones used in the original bolts. They must be weighed so that the new bolts are the same weight as the bolts on the same set of flanges.
During the disassembly of the coupling, the most difficult task is to remove the hub from the shaft. For the hub with a key connection, a tripod puller or a four-legged puller is generally used for disassembly. The selected puller should match the overall dimensions of the hub, and the right-angle hook of each leg of the puller should be properly combined with the rear side of the hub. It will not be slippery when forced. This method is only used for the disassembly of the hub with relatively small interference. For the hub with relatively large interference, the heating method is often used or the hydraulic jack is disassembled simultaneously.
