Nematodes have similar absorption and metabolism patterns for low-water resveratrol and water-soluble FUDR. Because the drug in the culture medium used for cultivating nematodes is absorbed by live bacteria, the concentration of the drug in the culture medium decreases rapidly, and the absorption efficiency of the nematode edible bacteria is higher than that when the edible bacteria are alive. Among the five culture methods, the nematodes cultured by NGM dead method and liquid growing method have the highest efficiency of absorbing drugs. The drug concentration in the nematode can be converted into the dose of the drug in the mouse, which provides a bridge between the dose of the nematode and the dose of the mammal.
