Material selection
Bamboo flooring is generally made of bamboo, but the mechanical properties of bamboo are closely related to the age of bamboo and the location of the bamboo. The age of bamboo is less than 4 years. The degree of lignification of the internal components of bamboo is not enough, the strength is unstable, and the shrinkage and swelling rate are large. More than 5 years of bamboo should be used. Bamboo generally has a thick root wall and a thin tip wall. Therefore, rod-shaped straight fresh bamboo with a breast diameter of more than 10 cm and a wall thickness of 7 mm or more is generally used as a raw material.
Cooking and drying of bamboo strips
Bamboo has the same chemical composition as wood, mainly cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and extracts. However, bamboo contains more protein, sugar, starch, fat and wax than wood. Under the condition of suitable temperature and humidity, it is easily eroded by insects and fungi. Therefore, bamboo strips need to be cooked after rough shaving (natural color) ) High-temperature and high-humidity carbonization (brown color), remove some sugar, starch and other extracts, add insecticides, preservatives, etc. during treatment to eliminate the breeding of insects and fungi. The moisture content of the cooked bamboo pieces exceeds 80% and reaches a saturated state. The moisture content of bamboo directly affects the stability of the finished product size and shape after processing bamboo. In order to ensure the quality of bamboo flooring products, the bamboo raw materials used for processing need to be fully dried before gluing. At present, bamboo drying is carried out using a drying kiln or a rail drying kiln.
The moisture content of bamboo needs to be controlled according to the climate conditions and the environment in which it is used. For example, the moisture content controlled by the north and the south of China is different. The moisture content of products used in the north is very low. Under normal circumstances, it should be controlled at 5%-9%. The bamboo elements of the bamboo flooring are required to have a uniform moisture content. For example, the bamboo chord floor (flat plate) requires that the moisture content of the bamboo layer of the surface layer, the middle layer and the bottom layer be uniform, so that it is not easily deformed and bent after being produced into a bamboo floor.
Bamboo shaving and sorting
The dried bamboo strips need to be shaved by four sides. Plan the residual bamboo green, bamboo yellow and the knife marks left by the rough planing. After such treatment, the bamboo strips and the bamboo strips can be glued very firmly. No cracks. No cracking. No stratification. After the bamboo strips are finished, they should be sorted to remove the bamboo strips whose processing size does not meet the requirements and the color difference is removed from the production line.
Gluing and assembly
Choose high quality environmentally friendly adhesives. Glue and apply evenly according to the specified amount of glue, and then set the bamboo strips according to the required specifications.
Hot press bonding
Hot pressing is a key process. When the slab is glued into a blank at a specified pressure, temperature and time, the surface finish of the bamboo strip, the adhesive and the hot pressing conditions have a great influence on the bonding strength of the bamboo floor.
Surface finishing
In order to prevent the moisture in the surrounding environment from invading the bamboo floor and to make the board surface resistant to pollution, abrasion, decoration, etc., the bamboo floor needs to be finished. Generally, after the 5th (paint) 2 surface (paint) is painted, the surface of the bamboo floor has been covered with a thick protective film. The hardness of the paint film is not as hard as possible, and it should be moderately soft and hard to ensure that the paint film has certain abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and toughness.
