This license will help Saint-Gobain (Asia Pacific) expand its business in China and follow the Group's existing strategy to further strengthen its business development in various markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

The glass infusion bottle will be produced by the company's factory in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. The factory is currently producing container bottles for food, beverages, cosmetics, and perfumes. With this permission, the factory will reconstruct the production line and purchase new machines to ensure that its products meet the high quality standards required by the pharmaceutical industry.

The infusion bottle produced by the Zhanjiang plant will be dedicated to the Asian market. The infusion bottle market in China is expected to have an annual demand of about 5 billion bottles, 90% of which are glass bottles. The production capacity of Saint-Gobain (Asia-Pacific) will be greatly improved and it will be fully prepared to meet the needs of the Chinese market.
