Do a good job of dust prevention

Turn off the machine before pulling the power

Before using the printer or moving it, do a permanent power off operation, turn off the printer power (if any), reset the nozzle and the ink tank cover, and then unplug the power cord and signal cable. To prevent the ink from evaporating, it is not easy to damage the nozzle when it is moved.

Install the cartridge carefully

The support mechanism of the ink cartridge can be subject to very little force. When installing a new ink cartridge, be careful. According to the normal design, the ink cartridge can be installed with proper force, and do not push the bracket.

Timely cleaning

Like the outside of the printer, it must be cleaned at regular intervals. Do not wait until a thick layer of dust accumulates. The outside of the printer can be wiped with a soft wet cloth. The cleaning liquid must be a neutral substance such as water. Never use alcohol. Internally try to use a dry cloth to wipe, and can not touch the internal electronic components, mechanical devices.

Internal printer maintenance

The cleaning of the nozzle should not be done by hand. The best way is to use a software-controlled print head cleaning program. Especially after adding ink, be sure to clean the print head to prevent the two inks from mixing and causing solidification. In addition, if the print quality is degraded such as stripe marks, color deterioration, etc. during printing, it is also necessary to clean the nozzle.

If the software cleaning method fails, it proves that the plugging is serious, usually the printer is not used for a long time or the power is interrupted during use. The nozzle is not reset. With a syringe facing the nozzle, constantly pulling the pressure device to allow high-speed air flow to clean the nozzle and suck out the remaining ink is a cleaning method that saves ink.

If the first manual cleaning method does not work, it is now necessary to prepare to open the printer. Turn off the power first, remove the plug, and completely disconnect the power. Remove the moving shaft and rotate the belt. Carefully pick up the print head and rinse it with distilled water. Then use a syringe and a soft hose to form a spray system and insert it into the ink inlet for cleaning. Both steps must be extremely careful and must not allow water to get on the circuit board. If you unfortunately wet the board, you should immediately dry it with a hair dryer. Finally, put it back in the printer and perform the software cleaning procedure again, allowing the ink to flush away the distilled water from the nozzle.
