Japan uses waste wood to develop new building materials products

Japan’s Yamato Haworth Industrial Co., Ltd. reuses the plant’s waste wood to develop building materials products that are composited with resins.
First, waste wood is processed into wood flour, then mixed with ABS resin to form a building material product, which can be used as interior decoration building materials such as residential window frames. The Japanese company has used single-family homes and collective residences since 2003. The mixing ratio of wood powder and ABS resin of this building material product is 2 to 8. It has the same woody feeling as ordinary wood, and can be sawed, nailed, and easily used.
The product has been exposed to sunlight and rain for 2000 hours. No discoloration or deterioration has occurred and the product has achieved high levels of weather resistance.
