Weight filling: Precise filling of oils and soy products By combining proven mechanical processes with new electronic technologies, Sidel successfully invented an accurate and reliable weight filler. The principle of operation is very simple: a kind of weight, one measurement.

During the filling process, an electronic microprocessor continuously controls the entire process by weight metering. The weight sensing device will accurately close the fill valve when the preset weight is reached, and will therefore not be affected by changes in the environmental conditions of the filling (such as temperature, viscosity or concentration of the contents). Because the weight of the filling remains constant, this weight filler can achieve very high filling accuracy with a maximum error of no more than 0.5%.
