Research on Several Problems of Detecting Non-Electroactive Gas Carbon Dioxide by Electrochemical Method

Abstract A number of electrochemical problems encountered in the detection of non-electrically active gas CO 2 were systematically studied, such as CO 2 electroreduction and direct current measurement, O 2 interference, and simultaneous detection of CO 2 and O 2 gases. 1 It has successively proposed and established electrochemical measurement methods such as micro-current method, depleted electricity deoxidation method, modulated potential pulse 2 current ˆ Coulomb method, and finally realized the rapid electrochemical method joint detection of CO 2 and O 2 gases at room temperature, Not only eliminates the interference of O 2, but also directly reduces CO 2 on the electrode 1
