Packaging material, ink "solvent residue" detection method

Instrument: Gas Chromatography Detector (Hydrogen Flame Ion Detector)

Column: 25% FEG-1500, 301 organic support, column length 2m, internal diameter 2mm (you can also use professional capillary column)

Conditions: Column Room Temperature 90°C Detector Temperature: 150°C Vaporization Room Temperature: 150°C

1. Detection of solvent residue in packaging materials

Using a gas chromatograph or equivalent instrument, prepare a standard solvent sample according to the type of solvent actually used in the production, and take 0.5 μl, 1 μl, and 2 μl with a microliter syringe.

3μl and 4μl samples, converted to mass. The samples were injected into clean and dry 500ml flasks sealed with silicone rubber and placed in a constant temperature oven at 80±2°C.

After a few minutes, 1 ml of gas was taken from the bottle with a 5 ml syringe and rapidly injected into the chromatograph for measurement. According to the total area of its peak value, the standard curve was made with the corresponding sample quality.

Cut 0.2m2 sample, rapidly cut the sample into 10mm × 30mm pieces, place it into a clean 500ml flask preheated at 80°C, seal it with a silicone plug, and send it into an 80±2°C constant temperature oven to heat it. 30 Minutes later, a 5 ml syringe was used to inject a 1 ml bottle of gas into the chromatograph for determination. The corresponding solvent residual amount was found on the standard curve with the total peak area value, and the test result was expressed in mg/m2.

2. Detection of ink solvent residue

Use a gas chromatograph or equivalent instrument to prepare standard solvents according to the type of solvent required by the product standard. Use a 10 μl sample injector to inject 1 μl of standard solvent into the 300 ml infusion bottle through a sealed rubber stopper and place it at 80±1°C. After 20 minutes in a constant temperature oven, remove it and place it in a constant temperature oven at 50±1°C for more than 20 hours every other day. After taking it out, use a 1ml syringe to extract 0.2, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0ml of gas from the bottle, and make a standard curve. .

The ink was made into a biaxially oriented polypropylene film and placed in suspension for 2 hours. The sample was cut into 4 pieces and the size was 5cm x 10cm. The total area was 200cm2. The bottle was immediately placed in a 300ml infusion bottle. The mouth is placed in a constant temperature oven at 80±1°C for 30 minutes. After taking it out, the gas is drawn with a 1 ml syringe and injected into the chromatograph. The total area of the peak area is found on the standard curve to find the corresponding solvent residue. The test result is in mg/ M2 indicates.
