(2) The use of thermal spraying technology to repair and intensify the manufacture of large-scale key equipment and imported parts. There have been many successful applications in this area in recent years, such as: one-meter-seven rolling mills, high-speed fan rotors, large extruder plungers, and large gears , electrode extrusion nozzle, high-power automotive crankshaft and so on. (3) Application of supersonic flame spraying technology With the development and improvement of thermal spray technology in our country, the quality requirements of the spray coating are also increasing. (6) Application of thermal spray technology in chemical anticorrosion projects Corrosion is one of the main reasons for the mechanical components being deactivated by the chemical or electrochemical action of surrounding media. It not only results in the loss of a large amount of metal materials, and thus the production loss caused by it is more difficult to estimate. Therefore, people attach great importance to chemical anti-corrosion work. The thermal spray layer is used in corrosive media, especially strong media corrosion, and it has not been possible to break through before. The main reason is that the sealing agent has not been solved. It is known that there are pores in the sprayed layer. If the pores are not sealed, various acids, alkalis, and organic media will be immersed in the pores to cause the coating to fall off and affect the anti-corrosion effect. According to the requirements of anti-corrosion projects, recently China has successfully developed dozens of models of sealing agents such as polyester, organic polymer, resin, plastic, and adhesive, which are suitable for the corrosion of acids, alkalis, salts, and organic substances. (8) Thermal spraying technology has also been applied to medical and sanitary aspects of building and decoration. In recent years, various statues, accessories, and large-scale walls have been sprayed with thermal spraying technology in Sichuan, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Yunnan, and have received good results, such as Shenyang City. With the development and improvement of thermal spraying technology, this technology has penetrated into other fields, such as the thermal spraying method in the biological field, and the manufacture of artificial bones.
