Carlsworth Introduces Deoxidation Technology for High-Performance PET Plastic Bottles

Carlos recently launched three innovative technologies and one-stop solutions in the fields of high performance additives and liquid colorants in China. The new generation of HyGuard is an innovative deoxygenation technology developed by Carlsbad for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) packaging materials. It extends the shelf life of the containers, and the shelf life can be adjusted. The maximum shelf life is up to 24 months. The above provides safe and reliable PET packaging for easily oxidized foods and beverages. Experts believe that this technology contributes to the lightweight and partial quantification of containers.

It is reported that HyGuard is the only recyclable PET plastic bottle deoxygenation technology recommended by the European PET Plastic Bottle Platform (EPBP) and the American Plastics Recycling Association (APR). In March of this year, the European Food Safety Authority confirmed it as a safe deoxidation technology for food packaging.
