There is no need to stalk the electronic eye for quality control

Bonner Engineering International Co., Ltd. has recently introduced a color vision sensor that can detect special colors. The device has features such as quick setup and easy use, and can be widely used in manufacturing, processing and packaging industries. It is available in two form factors, the user can select one-piece PresencePLUS P4 OMNI Color or select a two-piece PresencePLUS ProColor with a compact camera and a controller that can be installed separately on the DIN. IP-68 rated camera with ProColor configuration for harsh environments.

The sensor is able to detect color changes in its field of view to determine if there is a specific color learned from its integrated color matching teach-in tool. The user can detect from it whether there is a certain characteristic, verify the integrity of the component, count characteristics and color match. This new sensor is suitable for color determination in many industries such as food production and general packaging, pharmaceuticals and so on. Its typical uses include the detection of missing contents of packages, monitoring of package specifications, and confirmation of package integrity. With a 720×480 CMOS imager, the sensor can detect up to 900 parts per minute.

The color vision sensor uses Bonner's proprietary intuitive software for quick initial setup and can be easily operated and reconfigured without connecting to a computer. Users can also choose to operate in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese.
