The composite ink is used in the first to fifth units, and is cured by the inter-unit drying device that is arranged behind the second and fifth printing units to work. The sixth printing unit is used to apply oil-based brightening oil with a surface tension lower than that of the composite ink in a partially glazed manner. Subsequently, a full-scale UV gloss glazing is carried out on the wet printing varnish, and cured by the final UV drying device placed in the paper collecting device.
The non-image part of the glazed version used in the sixth unit together with UV varnish produces a high-gloss local finish. On the other hand, the wet printing bright oil carried in the image part of the printing plate interacts with the UV varnish. Subsequent UV curing in the take-up device produces a finely structured effect in these areas. The registration system of the sixth printing unit ensures accurate registration of even very fine parts.
