Yongda successfully developed green tape

Yongda has successfully developed adhesive tapes for electronic and electrical components, which have been tested and approved by the internationally renowned testing organization - Tongbiao Standard Technical Service Co., Ltd., and comply with the EU ROHS directive.

Wang Yuxin, consultant of Yongda Company's technical department, said that in recent years, the company has been devoting itself to research and development of products complying with the EU Packaging Material Directive. According to the ROHS Directive, electronic and electrical products placed on the EU market after July 1, 2006 must not contain six hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers. Wang Yuxin said that compared with the European Union's Packaging Materials Directive, the ROHS Directive has increased the detection of two kinds of harmful substances, namely polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers, which has made it difficult for Yongda to develop new products.

Although 90% of Yongda's direct customers of adhesive products are domestic manufacturers, Guo Yi, head of the company's marketing department, said: “The double-sided and aluminum foil adhesive tapes produced by Yongda are mainly used for electronic appliances, and they are indirectly used by “Yongda”. The customers are SONY, Panasonic, Canon, Omron, etc. Their products are mainly sold to the EU. Yongda's products are closely related to the EU's two environmental directives."

Yongda (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. is known for the development, production and manufacture of various types of packaging adhesive tapes, stationery adhesive tapes, double-sided adhesive tapes, special pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, and has the largest marketing network in the industry in China. With an annual output of 600 million square meters of adhesive tape and 50,000 tons of pressure-sensitive adhesive production capacity has become the country's largest pressure sensitive adhesive and pressure sensitive adhesive tape production base.
