When using Word to process information, you often need to take a look at the print output of the current page when you finish editing, and then re-edit the layout according to the output. However, on a computer that does not have a printer installed, click "Pages". When setting or "Print Preview", the program pops up a dialog box to tell the user "The printer is not yet installed. If you need to install the printer, please re-install the printer." Therefore, according to the conventional method, a printer is not installed in a printer. The computer can't see the specific print effect. If we have to check the specific print results on a computer without a printer, how can we achieve this? The following are the specific implementation steps:

1, first open the Start menu in the Windows system, and then click on the menu, click "Settings" / "Printer", so that everyone can see a "Add Printer" window;

2. In the window, double-click the "Add Printer" icon, the program will automatically pop up a dialog titled "Add Printer Wizard", click the "Next" button in the dialog box with the mouse;

3, when the wizard prompt box prompts us to select the local printer or network printer, you can select the "local printer" option, and then continue to click the "Next" button;

4. When the installation wizard box asks everyone to add printer manufacturers and printers, you can use the mouse to select a vendor and printer and click the "Next" button.

5, the next printer installation wizard program will open a "port settings" interface, in this interface, we do not make any choice, click the "Next" button to skip this step;

6. When everyone sees the words “Do you want to print a test page?”, you should select “No”. After all, your printer is not installed on your computer. Finally, click the “Finish” button with your mouse.

7, then the system will appear "is copying files ..." such operation tips, while requiring everyone to insert the Windows system installation CD-ROM or disk, and then follow the prompts to operate, the computer system will automatically read the printer driver, After the completion of the printer window appears to add a printer icon;

8, after completing the above steps, you may wish to open the edit page, and then in the corresponding menu bar, click "Page Setup" or "Print Preview", you can preview the print effect.

Every time before the official printing of Microsoft Word documents, many users will call the print preview function to see if the layout of the document is appropriate. If any content needs to be adjusted, it will generally return to the document editing state to readjust the content. Is it necessary to go back to editing? In fact, we can directly edit and modify the inappropriate place in the print preview mode, the following is the specific operation steps:

1. In the toolbar of Word's main operation interface, click the print preview button with the mouse, and then the Word program will switch from the edit state to the preview state;

2, then use the mouse to click the magnifying glass button on the print preview toolbar, and move the magnifying glass to the position to be edited. Once you find that the mouse pointer changes from a magnifying glass icon to a type I icon, you can directly modify in the document Text, and Word program will automatically enlarge the editing area;

3. After the editing is completed, you can click the close button in the preview window to exit the print preview mode and return to the original editing mode, and directly click the print button to complete the formal printing of the document.
