Surface substrate, anti-fouling properties

1. Paper substrate types and characteristics

Offset paper: Non-coated paper with good printing and processing properties, mainly 64g/m2, and also 81.4g/m2, 104.7g/m2 color offset paper.

Coated paper, coated paper: Coated paper surface coating, suitable for advanced printing.
Glass surface paper jam: Compared with coated paper and coated paper, it improves the smoothness and gloss of the paper, making it more upscale.

Aluminium Foil: A thin aluminum foil with high gold and silver (glossy, matt) and so on.

Recycled paper: waste paper is mixed into the raw materials, but it does not affect the printability and is an environmentally friendly product. Some companies (such as Japan's Lintec Co., Ltd.) use 100% recycled paper on their self-adhesive surface substrates, and the product is certified by the ECO-MARK (Green Mark).

Impregnated paper: impregnated with paper in the paper to increase paper strength and water resistance.

Special paper: such as water-resistant paper, fluorescent paper and colored paper, with different colors, textures and properties, suitable for various uses.

Variable information printing paper: Different types of paper suitable for various printing methods such as inkjet, electrophotography, thermal and thermal transfer.

2. Types and Characteristics of Film Surface Substrates

Polyester film: including transparent, white, matt, foamed, aluminized and wire-drawing processing films with high heat resistance and transparency. Film manufacturers have different names for films. PET stands for polyester film. The film thickness is 12-250μm. The surface of the film coated with aluminum on PET is denoted by FN, if it is silver it is denoted by FNS light; the matt gold is denoted by FNG matt. Polypropylene film: It is generally represented by PP. It has several kinds of white, transparent, semi-transparent, aluminum-plated, etc. Its transparency and water resistance are good, and its surface adaptability is excellent.

Polystyrene film: generally represented by PS, white and transparent, film thickness of 25-120μm, and more for the same material with the sticker (recyclable) label.

Synthetic: It is based on plastics, with whiteness, opacity, printability and plastic properties.

Polyvinyl chloride film: Generally expressed as PVC, this material is soft and has good water resistance, and is most suitable for signage. In addition to the general polyvinyl chloride film, there are super weathering polychlorinated films and brittle polychlorinated films.
Polyimide film: Oil-resistant, low-temperature and stable performance, mainly used for heat-resistant barcode labels.
Variable information printing film: suitable for inkjet, electronic photography, thermal transfer and other printing methods.
In addition to paper and film substrates, there are surface substrates such as satin, nonwoven fabrics, and aluminum monomers.
