Look at domestic large-format offset presses to achieve 15,000 impressions per hour

At the 12th edition of the Longgang Printing Exhibition this year, we saw a model that represents the highest level of domestic offset sheet offset presses. Its production speed achieves a breakthrough of 15,000 sheets per hour on large-format offset presses. At present, in the domestic offset printing press market, the number of multi-color booting and multi-color pair booting is still very low. The machine we saw at this exhibition was independently developed by Jiangsu Changsheng Group in 2008. Some of its performances represent, to a certain extent, another developmental breakthrough in the domestic printer industry.

The full name of the machine is called a sheet-fed four-color offset press, which can achieve full-speed printing of 15,000 sheets per hour. This speed can be compared with foreign models. We look at several models recently introduced by well-known overseas offset press manufacturers. Their machine speeds are mostly 15,000 sheets per hour, and a few 18,000 sheets/hour of large-format offset presses are rare.

There is a very good data to express the printing speed of this domestic offset press and its high automation. Yang Ming, deputy general manager of Changsheng Group, told reporters. This machine entered the market from the end of 2008 and has now completed close to 60 million prints, with single prints ranging from 25 to 24.

In addition, we also learned that this off-web offset press has a printing width of 102 x 720 cm. The degree of automation achieved from paper presetting to ink color control, automatic control of pressure adjustment, and automatic cleaning of the ink path. It solves the drawbacks of the traditional manual offset adjustment of conventional offset presses. In terms of printing accuracy, it is also manufactured in full accordance with European standards of 10 micron stacking accuracy. It is worth mentioning here that the evaluation accuracy of a product by a European machine is mainly considered through the accuracy of four-color overlays. The accuracy of the four-color overlay network of the European model requires 10 micrometers. The models represented by Asian machines such as Mitsubishi and Komori in Japan are based on 20 micrometers. The high and low of the four-color overlay network directly determine the printing accuracy of the printed product.
