Preparation of Microporous Film for Winter Jujube Preservation

In the field of modified atmosphere packaging of fruits and vegetables, some products have been successfully used microporous film packaging. In Japan, leeks are wrapped in microporous PP film and stored at 20°C for 5 days. French Renlaut et al. showed that microporous membranes can effectively solve the problem of strawberry modified atmosphere packaging. The perforated microporous silica film can meet the requirements of modified atmosphere packaging of cabbage and prolong its shelf life. The application of microporous membranes is still in its infancy in China, especially in the field of food preservation. According to reports, the State Agricultural Products Preservation Engineering Technology Research Center has recently developed a microporous film for preservation of winter jujube, effectively extending the shelf life of winter jujube.
