1. Corrugated cardboard composition

Corrugated paperboard is mainly divided into three-layer corrugated cardboard, five-layer corrugated cardboard and seven-layer corrugated cardboard.

The three-layer corrugated carton is mainly used for packaging lighter weight inner packagings. The three-layer corrugated carton is also called a single corrugated carton. The structure of the three-layer corrugated carton is a combination of two sheets of corrugated paper each with a face paper.

The five-layer corrugated carton is mainly used for single-piece packaging of lighter weight and easily broken contents; the five-layer corrugated carton is also called double corrugated carton, which was formerly referred to as "three yellow and two watts." The structure of the five-layer corrugated carton is formed by the bonding of face paper, inner paper, two core papers, and two corrugated papers. The type of the corrugated type is usually the AB type (the drug packaging in Chongqing is the most used type), AC type, and BC Type, AE type or BE type.

The seven-layer corrugated carton consists of the following paperboards and three-layer corrugated cardboard (mainly used for the packaging of heavy goods such as motorcycles);

Composition: Bonded by face paper, corrugated paper, core paper, corrugated paper, core paper, corrugated paper, and paper. Corrugated type combinations are usually BAB type, BAA type, CAC type or BAC type

2. Uniform corrugated paper unit of measure

1). General carton factory purchase when the paper, paper, paper, corrugated paper are calculated in tons. That is, each type of paper, paper, paper, and corrugated paper is expressed in yuan per ton. The unit is expressed as “yuan/ton”, and the unit must be replaced with “yuan/kg”.

Such as the purchase price of 5200 yuan / ton, then calculated as kg is 5200 yuan / 1000kg = 5.20 yuan / kg.

2). The weight of general paper is usually grammage. Actually, it should be the number of grams per square meter, that is, the weights of all kinds of facial paper, inner paper, core paper and corrugated medium paper are represented by "g/m2" as the representative unit. The unit must be unified, where "g/m2" must be converted to "kg/m2".

Such as the purchase of 300 grams of kraft paper, which is 300g/m2 kraft paper, this time will be "300 g/m2" converted (300/1000) kg/m2", then get 0.3kg/m2.

3). Determination of corrugated paper corrugated paper

The corrugated base paper is called the compression ratio coefficient because it shortens the length of the paper after pressing the corrugation. There is no uniform standard for this coefficient in each manufacturer. The reason is that the production capacity and management level of each manufacturer directly affect the yield of corrugated paper, but the packaging industry generally defaults to the following factors:

The compression ratio of A楞 is 1.59, which is 1 meter long after the corrugated paper of 1.59 meters.

The compression ratio of B楞 is 1.36, which is 1.36 meters long after the corrugated paper is pressed.

The compression ratio of C楞 is 1.50, that is, the corrugated paper of 1.50 meters is 1 meter long after the pressure.


The compression ratio of E楞 is 1.27, which is 1.27 meters long after the corrugated paper is pressed.

3. Corrugated paper box price calculation of paper price per square meter

(1) Algorithms for facial paper, liner paper, and core paper

Example: The purchase price of 4,800 yuan / ton of surface paper is 350 g / m2, and its price per square should be;

(4800/1000)×(350/1000)

= 4.8 × 0.35

= 1.68 (yuan/m2)

(2) Corrugated paper algorithm

Example: The high-strength tile with an purchase price of 1800 yuan/ton is 180g/m2, and its price per square meter should be:

(1800/1000)×(180/1000)×1.59

=1.8×0.18×1.59

= 0.516 (yuan/square meter)

4. Calculation of cost per square meter of raw materials for corrugated board

Existing customers are required to produce five-layer corrugated cartons, requiring the use of facial paper as a leather card 300 g/high 180 g (A/B)/gray paper 180 g P/L paper 280 g teaboard paper, and try to calculate board paper Cost per square meter.

5. The main factor and coefficient of corrugated board ex-factory price calculation

The ex-factory price of the carton should include the sum of the carton raw material cost price and other amortized expenses.

Other amortized expenses include auxiliary materials (adhesives, inks, tapes, power), equipment depreciation, workers' wages, taxes, and so on.

In the carton ex-factory price, the raw material cost of the carton generally accounts for 0.5-0.7, and the other amortized cost accounts for 0.5-0.3. Generally, the manufacturer's value is the raw material cost of the carton 0.65, and the other amortized cost accounts for 0.35. For simple calculation, the coefficient of half of the material is used to estimate the coefficient of 0.5.

6. Ex-factory price of corrugated cardboard

The ex-factory price of containerboard is the cost per square meter of containerboard material/0.65

Based on the information provided in "4. Calculation of Cost Per Square Meter of Raw Materials for Containerboard", the ex-factory price of containerboard can be calculated as:

1) The unfolded surface of the carton is divided into a single piece containing four sides of the box and a single piece containing two sides of the box.

2) Calculation formula for carton area

The raw material used by the carton factory to produce the largest number of cartons is web. The general width of webs is 960mm, 1100mm, 1600mm and 1940mm, which can also be customized according to user requirements. The maximum width of the equipment in the carton factory is 2.2m, which is generally 1.6m. The carton area is calculated as follows:

The width of the equipment (assuming the width of the equipment is X meters) divided by the width of the carton (width + height + 0.06m) is an integer (assuming the integer is y). Then y indicates that the width of the equipment can produce several cartons at the same time. Plate. Therefore, when designing cartons, we should consider the width and height of the cartons as much as possible. That is, the designer should give priority to how many rows of content are put, how many floors are placed to satisfy sales counts, and the number of sheets to be opened is reduced. Due to the small number of paper cuts, the individual cost of the carton is increased.

The width of the carton pricing area is X÷Y=B, and the length of the carton pricing area is the length of the carton (length+width+0.06)×2+0.04=A, that is, A is the length of the carton calculation area, so the area of ​​the carton is B × A = S, that is, S is the area of ​​the carton at the time of pricing. The length, width, and height units in the formula are all meters (m)

0.06 in the formula represents the amount of trimming in the length and width directions of the carton board is 60mm, and 0.04 is the tongue edge. These two values ​​are values ​​that can only be increased and cannot be reduced.

Third, calculation examples:

Existing customers are required to produce five-layer corrugated cartons with an inner diameter of (500mm × 310mm × 240mm). Requirements for the use of facial paper for the leather card 300g/high 180g (A/B楞)/core paper 180g Puwa/in paper 280 grams of tea board paper, try to calculate the carton price. The roll width of machine equipment is 1.6m.

(1) The area of ​​the carton is calculated as follows:

Carton width: 1.6 inches (0.24 + 0.31 + 0.06) = 2

1.6÷2=0.8

Carton length: (0.5+0.31+0.06)×2+0.04=1.78m2

The area of ​​the carton is: 1.78×0.8=1.42m2

(2) The price per square meter for five-story corrugated cardboard boxboard is: 7.63 yuan (see calculation of a section 3)

(3) The price of the carton is 7.63 × 1.42 = 10.83 yuan

The length of the cardboard box corrugated board is (0.5+0.31+0.06)×2+0.04=1.78

The area of ​​the carton S = 1.78 × 0.65 = 1.157

The price of the carton is 1.157 × 7.63 = 8.83 yuan

Different box types have different surface areas, and the same box type increases the price of each carton due to the reduction in the number of sides of the carton contained in the single piece.

In the calculation of the carton price, the purchase price of the paper is changed, the ex-factory price coefficient is reasonable, the equipment capacity of the carton manufacturer is used, and whether the width of the used roll material matches the width of the manufactured carton or the like will affect the price of the carton.
