Selection of trapping and overprinting during printing

Trap means that one color ink is printed in the image where the corresponding position of another color ink is hollowed out.

From the color point of view, it is generally necessary to overprint several colors to get the color customers need. For example, the magenta color is reproduced by the four-color printing process, which must be solidly overprinted with magenta ink and yellow ink. But for some colors, the results obtained by overprinting and trapping seem to be similar, such as black, gold, silver and other colors overprinting or trapping, the results are not very different; dark and light-colored overprinting similar It is not much different from the result obtained by trapping.

In actual production, if you choose overprinting or trapping, you need to comprehensively consider the relevant issues and choose the appropriate process.

â‘ From the perspective of registration and drying

Overprinting will not cause the problem of white leakage even if the overprint is inaccurate, but it is easy to cause the back side to be smeared due to the thick ink layer. Trap is not easy to appear dirty on the back, but if the overprint is not accurate, it is easy to expose and affect the appearance.

For a monochrome machine, the previous color is dried and then the next color is printed, which is conducive to the drying of the ink, but it is easy to cause overprinting due to the expansion of the paper due to water absorption and expansion, so it is preferred to use overprinting.

For multi-color machines, multi-color printing is completed in an instant, basically there is no problem of inaccurate overprinting caused by the paper's water absorption and extension, and the registration performance is improved, but too thick ink layers are accumulated by wet overprinting at once. Poor drying is prone to occur, so trapping is preferred.

â‘¡ Consider from printing color sequence

Wet overprinting must take into account the nature of the ink, and the viscosity of the ink printed first. The adhesion must be greater than the post-printing ink, otherwise the post-printing ink will appear reverse overprinting phenomenon. Post-printing ink must also have high transparency. The color sequence arrangement of trapping is not limited by the nature of the ink, which is more conducive to selecting the most suitable printing color sequence according to other factors.

â‘¢ Consider from the color effect

When printing gold ink and silver ink on coated paper, the whole ink and silver ink printed on white paper by trapping method are thicker and more pure than the color obtained on other background colors. When printing black, if There is only a solid image with a large area on the black plate. The trapping method is used to increase the ink volume of the black plate. Printing on white paper is thicker than the ink color obtained by overprinting on other solid ground colors. However, when printing only text and lines, because the human eye is not strong in distinguishing the density of thin line strokes, it is not necessary to print small text and lines too thickly, and if thin line strokes are trapped It is difficult to overprint accurately, therefore, the printing of small lines is generally overprinted.

Microfiber is a synthetic material. which regularly consists of 100% polyester and 80% polyester 20% polyamide for mop producing. The fiber is many times smaller than a human hair, when woven together, the fibers create a net-like surface that traps more dirt, debris and moisture than cotton.

Microfiber is simply a superior cleaning material. Advantages include:

1.The fibers absorb six times their weight in water.

2.Just using water and microfiber removes 98.6% of bacteria from smooth surfaces,They can remove large quantities of microbes, including hard-tokill spores, it dries fast, making it hard for bacteria to grow in it

3.Microfiber can be laundered and reused more than 400 times.

5.Microfiber dries faster, which results in a cleaner floor with much less water left on the floor to dry, reduces slip and fall potential.

6. Microfiber Mop heads are lightweight and much easier to wring out.

7. Because of the fibers` net-like structure, microfiber mops have more surface contact with the floor and remove more dirt than cotton mops do.

8. The fabric dries in one-third the time of traditional cotton cloths, microfiber mops weigh less than traditional cotton mops, workers experience less back strain and fatigue from repeated use.
