Study on the structure and properties of seven-layer corrugated paperboard

Seven-layer corrugated paperboard is widely used in the heavy-duty packaging field for its excellent protection performance and low price, especially for the export of heavy and large-scale commodity packaging, and most of them use seven-layer corrugated cardboard boxes, which have developed in recent years. Because there are three layers of corrugated paper in the seven-layer corrugated paperboard, different types and shapes of corrugated corrugated paper can be used for different core papers. Due to different types and shapes of corrugated corrugated sheets, their performance is also very different, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The performance of the seven-layer corrugated cardboard made of corrugated board will also be obviously different. The structure of the seven-layer corrugated board has a great influence on its performance and various technical indicators, thus determining the application range of the seven-layer corrugated board. This article focuses on the study of the combination of various types of corrugated fiber cores (ie, the structure of a seven-layer corrugated paperboard) and the effects of the seven-layer corrugated paperboard on compressive and bursting resistance.

(1) Performance of corrugated board of corrugated board Corrugated board is the basic element of corrugated board. There are three types of corrugated corrugated board: U-shaped, V-shaped and UV-type. The cartons made of U-shaped 楞 are flexible, feel comfortable and have high Absorption capacity, buffering performance, but low compressive strength. V-type helium has higher pressure resistance, but it is easy to break and loses buffering performance. UV type is U and V type complementary type, and it is widely used.

The C-window is between A and B, which combines the characteristics of the A-type and B-type corrugations, but not their average value. The E-lay is generally used for inner packing or cartoning, and generally not suitable for outer packaging. The following is a study of the effect of the combination of three types of corrugated fiberboards, A, B, and C, on the performance of a seven-layer corrugated paperboard.

In the seven-layer corrugated cardboard made of a pure type of corrugated board, the seven-layer corrugated cardboard made of only type A corrugated board has the highest burst strength, but its compressive strength is the smallest, and the only one constituted by the B-type corrugation is seven. Although the corrugated cardboard has the highest edge pressure strength, its burst resistance is low.

The seven-layer corrugated cardboard consisting of A, B, and C corrugated cardboards has similar resistance to puncture. Although the compressive strength of a seven-layer corrugated cardboard box consisting of B-type corrugated cardboard is higher than that of A and C-type corrugated cardboard boxes, its disadvantage is its resistance. The degree of failure is poor, and at the same time whether its compressive strength reaches a maximum value, this needs further study.

In order to absorb the advantages of each type of stencil and obtain a good overall performance of the cardboard, so the use of three types of A, B, C corrugated into seven types of corrugated corrugated cardboard. In the seven-layer corrugated paperboard, the seven-layer corrugated board made of ABB and AAB corrugated board is compared with the board made of only A-type corrugated board, though its burst resistance has decreased, but its side pressure strength has increased significantly. The overall performance has increased. The performance of the seven-layer corrugated paperboard, which is also a combination of Type A and Type C corrugations, is not improved compared to the AAA type. This may be due to the fact that the Type C corrugated board does not have outstanding performance in one of its aspects.

The above research results show that the combination of AAB and ABB type rakes has good burst strength and side pressure strength. At the same time, it can be seen that the seven-layer corrugated cardboard composed of AAB and ABB enamel combination has obvious puncture strength. Improvements, especially ABB type corrugated board and cartons, are not only the best resistance of the carton to overstrength, but also its best resistance to puncture. The seven-layer corrugated box with the highest compressive strength in the seven-layer corrugated carton composed of a single type of corrugated board has greatly improved the compressive strength and puncture resistance. Has a good overall performance.

(III) Conclusions 1. The performance of a single-layer seven-layer corrugated paperboard consisting of A, B, and C is quite prominent, but its overall performance is poor.

2. The seven-layer corrugated paperboard formed by the combination of different types of corrugated board can fully absorb the advantages of various types of corrugated board, and its comprehensive performance is greatly improved.

3. Based on the results of the study, the seven-layer corrugated paperboard and cartons constructed with the combination of ABB type corrugated linings not only have the best compressive properties, but also have the best resistance to puncture strength, and have good overall performance indicators.
