Google Store Indie Game Festival held a number of VR/AR games shortlisted in September

Google officially announced that it will host the Google Play Indie Game Festival in San Francisco on September 24th. More than 30 new games will be on display, half of which will allow players to play live. Developers who want to participate in this indie game festival also have certain conditions: First, they do not support listed companies; secondly, the studio team needs to work within 15 people for full-time work; finally, the works are released or listed in this year. Released during the year; but the most important point is that it is only available to developers in the US and Canada.

Representatives from the indie game developer community and other industry veterans will participate in this year's Google Play Indie Games Festival. During the festival, the judges will vote for the best games, including the Indie Fund co-founder Ron Carmel, Google's chief game designer Noah Falstein, and Kongregate Chief Executive Officer Emily Greer and independent YouTube anchor Jordan Maron.

Senior game designer and University of Southern California game professor Richard Lemarchand will be the host of the Indie Games Festival. Award-winning developers will receive prizes such as Google Cloud Points, NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 Tablets, and Razer Forge TV Suite.

Google lists a list of 30 games on the Google Play Indie Games section. The reporter noted that the independent games covered include casual puzzles, shooting, action and collecting cards, as well as several AR/VR games, including AR Zombie, Crayola® Worlds for Tango and HoloGrid: Monster Battle "HOVR" "SmashWars VR: Drone Racing".
