The difference between softwood pulp and hardwood pulp

Hardwood, also commonly known as hardwood. The main tree species include eucalyptus, poplar, and birch.

Cork, also commonly known as softwood. The main tree species include pine wood.

The main difference is that the performance of the two applications on paper is not the same.

The hardwood fiber is thick and short, and the resulting paper has a high bulk, high stiffness and good packaging performance.

The cork fiber is long and thin, and the made paper has good flexibility, high folding resistance and good printing performance.

In the case of the same grade, softwood pulp is usually more expensive than hardwood pulp.
