China Nonwovens Industry

China's non-woven fabric industry sprouted in 1958, but it really began to enter large-scale development in 1978, and it has been more than 20 years. For decades, the development of China's non-woven fabrics can be divided into three historical periods, namely: the budding period (1958-1978), the leap-forward development period (1978-1988), and the transition to the Middle and High-tech period (from 1978 in Guangzhou Second, the introduction of the first synthetic fiber plant in China into the production of spunbond production line as a symbol).
At present, China’s non-woven fabric production capacity is based on the authoritative statistics made by the National Textile Industry Bureau, China’s Nonwovens and Industrial Fabrics Industry Association in 1997. There are 574 non-woven fabric factories in China and 1014 production lines distributed in China. In 25 provinces and regions, its production capacity has reached 534,000 t/a. In 1997, the actual output was 299,700 t, ranking third in the world, accounting for about one-tenth of the world's production. China has become a truly non-woven fabric. World power.
