Japan's new environmental protection adhesive

Japan has increased the development of environmentally-friendly and high-performance adhesives, and recently three new products have achieved good results in application.

Sumitomo Chemical has developed an i-line photoresist and a heat-resistant photoresist applied to an excimer laser with a wavelength of 36.5 nm. The pre-glue product is a thick-film photoresist, which has high performance in the production of enlarged liquid crystal displays (LCDs); post-adhesive products are mainly used in processing plasma display (PDP) assemblies. This new adhesive material can improve the quality of LCDs and PDPs. The sensitivity of the former product is 19 millijoules (cm)-2, and the latter can withstand high temperatures of 1000°C.

The formaldehyde-free adhesive developed by DJK uses low polyacrylate, polyvinyl acetate emulsion, and hydrogen peroxide curing agent CaC03 filter as raw materials. Its adhesive strength and fire resistance are similar to melamine adhesives. , And lower production costs, can replace the plywood used in the manufacture of formaldehyde-containing adhesives.
