Tokyo Electronics Industry Co., Ltd. recently introduced a new device "PC-99" that can perform image processing checks on printed characters such as product trademarks. In the past, visual inspections were performed on printed texts, and missed checks often occurred for typos and missed words. Now, the “PC-99†inspection device can perform highly accurate automatic inspection.
The inspection of this new device is: First, the authenticity of the printed matter scanned is recorded in the image component. Then, during the formal inspection, the machine automatically marks the monitor on the monitor when there are problems with text defects, typos, scratches, and smearing.
It is reported that the device has now registered approximately 200 different printed texts as "original flip-flops" beforehand in the device. The device can also print out the inspection results.
