In response to these conditions, after careful field demonstration, the company’s repair course selected the strong high-temperature resistant industrial metal glue produced by the Beijing Haoli Polymer Materials Research Institute to repair the dryer and confirm the use of iron-based adhesive (Specification 202-200C type). After operating for more than one year after the cylinder was replaced, the effect was very good and there was no replenishment.

Specific repair methods are as follows:

1 After shutting down, first remove the iron plate on the edge of the dryer steam leakage cover, and then remove the manhole cover plate and the steam inlet head. If the downtime is limited, cold water can be quickly added to the dryer to cool the dryer as quickly as possible. At the same time, a special socket wrench is used to diagonally tighten the compression screw of the dryer side cover one by one (because the screw will be subject to plastic deformation due to high temperature).

2 When the surface temperature of the drying cylinder drops to about 30°C, the water in the cylinder is sucked out with a hose, and then forced air is blown into the cylinder with a blower. When the temperature in the cylinder falls below 40°C, the maintenance personnel enters and removes the drying cylinder with a rag. The remaining water.

3 Use a small angle grinder to grind a groove (edge ​​6mm, depth Zmm) in the contact area between the edge of the steam leakage edge of the dryer and the side cover, and then use an angle grinding brush to make the edge of the groove. The rust is polished clean, then the rust and dust in the tank and the sides of the tank are cleaned with a dry paint brush and cleaned out of the tank.

4 Use 50 paint brushes to dip the acetone to clean the grooved groove and edge of the groove so that there are no rust, dust and oil stains in the groove and groove.

5 Take 2 sets of iron-based glue, according to the proportion and instructions will glue A. Plastic B. Place on a clean glass surface and stir it with a stirring blade to make it evenly mixed. Then use a stirring blade to apply the glue to the cleaned groove. Fill as much as possible. If necessary, squeeze a little soapy water to squeeze it. Pressure, repair, make its surface smooth, no soft spots and surface defects. The entire gluing process must be completed within 40 minutes after the glue is dispensed, otherwise the gum changes, affecting the glue effect.
