A U.S. company crushes old newspapers, adds water for pulping and molds, instead of foams, as packaging filler for toys, computer-driven disks, and peripheral equipment. Because this packaging filler is made entirely from old newspapers, the cost is very low. Test results show that the impact resistance of this filler is not worse than that of foam, but the volume is much smaller.
