BSP feeder new series

K-Tron has recently expanded its award-winning Bulk Solids Pump (BSP) feeder series with two new models: BSP-135 and BSP-150-P. Both models are available in both volume and weight styles. The BSP-135 reduced feeder configuration can be used with bench scales, 3-point or single-point suspension weighing. The BSP-150-P can be configured as a loss-in-weight feeder with a 3-point suspension weighing configuration.

K-Tron's BSP feeders do not use common screw/spiral, conveyor belts, or vibrating plates to transport materials. Instead, they use volumetric action to transport granular materials. The feeding accuracy is high, feeding is uniform, and the volume is stable. Smooth handling. The BSP feeder has a vertical rotating disk, which forms the feed pipe. The material moves smoothly from the storage hopper through the "product locking zone" to the discharge port to obtain a true linear mass flow. Since there is no groove or screw, there is only one moving part, so these small feeders can be cleaned in seconds, which is especially suitable for occasions of frequent refueling.

BSP-135 is made of aluminum like BSP-100. The BSP-135 features three feed lines to replace the BSP-125 with only two feed lines and extends the feed rate range to 155 ft3/h (4400 dm3/h).

The BSP-150-P uses a plastic feeder made of carbon fiber-reinforced PBT, which is extremely strong, durable, and economical. The use of multiple users proves that the BSP-150-P is a reliable device for feeding plastic pellets.
