Chinese steel drum recycling industry is developing slowly

China's steel drum recycling industry is developing slowly, and the factories engaged in the old barrel refurbishment industry are mostly small. Experts pointed out that there are three main reasons that constrain their development:

First, there is no reliable source of old barrels. China has so far not had a unified steel drum recycling management system, and there are no management agencies and personnel specializing in this work;

Second, there is no advanced old barrel renewal technology and equipment. At present, equipment technology is backward, productivity is low, and it is difficult to meet the needs of modern production. Many enterprises that are qualified to carry out large-scale renovation of old barrels are forgotten because they cannot find advanced old barrel retreading equipment.

Third, there is no steady sales channel for retread barrels. Companies that use retready barrels are mostly users of small batches, and some are used from time to time, and companies that use a lot of old barrels themselves are engaged in retreading old barrels, but only for simple internal cleaning.
