While these tools are essential for navigating rough terrain, they can unintentionally become destructive when used carelessly on ancient sites. Made from a strong alloy like tungsten-titanium, the tips are sharp enough to easily scratch glass and can cause irreversible damage to historical structures like the Great Wall. It's time to rethink how we interact with these precious cultural landmarks.
In response to this issue, MBC trekking poles are calling on everyone to join the ALICE initiative. When exploring ancient sites, it’s crucial to use the soft wand tip of your hiking pole to protect the integrity of these historical places and preserve public heritage. The second season of MBC's Zang Feng Plan is about to begin, and they will be providing specially designed trekking poles to members of the recruited clubs.
Equipment Cool is rallying people to take part in this important mission. At ancient civilization sites, using the soft tip of your pole can help protect the heritage around us. This is why we launched the protection campaign - "Outdoor Club Convocation Orders." We are recruiting five outdoor clubs to participate in the Tibetan Front operation. Here’s what you need to do:
1. Commit to using the MBC-provided trekking pole tip when walking on ancient structures.
2. Take photos using the soft tip to protect the site.
3. Film a video where you clearly state the name of the supporting club and the event slogan: “Cultural heritage cannot be destroyed, support the Tibetan Front operation.â€
Registration is open from August 17th to August 27th. Join the Tibetan Front plan and contribute to the protection of our ancient cultural heritage.
