On August 25th, the press conference for the 14th International Mountain Outdoor Sports Open of the 2016 Fairy Mountain Cup was held in the main city of Chongqing. This year's competition will be held in Wulong County from September 3rd to the 8th. 23 top-level outdoor sports teams from home and abroad will gather in Wulong. Tiansan Bridge and Fairy Mountain and Longshui Gorge Sewing, Furong Cave, Wujiang Gallery, Baima Mountain and other places are passionate challenges. The total prize money for this tournament is up to 200,000 U.S. dollars, which is the first of its kind in the country. In March of this year, technical staff of the outdoor sports department of the National Sports Center's climbing center went to Wulong County to carry out on-site survey and design of the 14th China International Mountain Outdoor Sports Open. After a rigorous line survey, the final 200 km race line and 11 competitions were finalized. It is reported that on September 5th qualifying, the total length of the line is about 11 kilometers, including cross-country races, gliding, cycling, mountain biking, etc.; September 6th to 8th is an official competition with a total length of 189 kilometers. Including caving, canoeing, cross country running, mountain biking, bridge descending, swimming, downhill and other competition projects; on the evening of September 8th, the closing ceremony was held at Fairy Girl Street in Fairy Mountain National Tourism Resort. The event was sponsored by the Mountain Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration, the Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau, the Chongqing Tourism Bureau, and the Wulong County People's Government. The Chongqing Wulong Karst (Group) Company organized the event. Since 2003, the event has been held once a year. This year is the 14th.
