Fun is a key element in the packaging design of children's products. To this end, packaging designers need to consider the interests of children, use their curiosity, and design interesting display packaging to stimulate their desire to buy. In addition, children are simple and simple, especially like and longing for nature, so they can add elements of nature in children's packaging design.
To this end, the author designed two display packaging solutions for the characteristics and color of Snoopy series children's hand cream. The first is a game carousel display that allows children to interact with the product packaging, making the product deep into their hearts in the game; the second is a simple display stand for children to observe and pick and place products.
Design
Option 1: Game carousel display rack
(1) Structural design
The structural design of children's product packaging should be protective and interesting. Therefore, the design should adopt a circular or curved structure to avoid the damage of sharp corners and corners to children, and at the same time pay attention to fun.
Option 1 is a game carousel display rack that is made of two corrugated cardboard. Among them, the panel is made of E-shaped corrugated cardboard, and the side panel is made of B-shaped corrugated cardboard. After the side plates are rolled into a cylinder, they are fixed by the tongues. Because the tongues are long, they can be folded back to form a hook-lock type, so the side plates are tightly locked (as shown in Fig. 1). Subsequently, four small pieces (as shown in Fig. 2) are cut in the upper, lower, left and right directions of the panel, respectively, and folded downward to be inserted into the inner side of the side plate, and the side plate is used to clamp the panel, and the pressure of the hand cream is applied, the panel and the side The plates can be tightly joined together.

The hand cream is inserted into the groove at a certain angle to the panel. The lower part of the hand cream is stuck in the groove, and the upper part is displayed outside, and the display effect is good. Moreover, since the display package is folded and formed without sizing, it is very easy to be separated and assembled, and the assembly process is relatively simple.
(2) Decoration design
Children's reactions to the surrounding things are welcoming and immediate, and are more susceptible to the image and fantasy world in the face of intense visual stimuli. If a product presents pure information, it will make the child feel bored and lose interest in the product. Therefore, children's skin care packaging should have a more vivid color.
