In humid weather, when the relative humidity in the air is too high, the carton is in direct contact with the air, which will absorb the moisture in the air. If the water content is too high, it will directly affect the printing quality and physical properties. So how do we do moisture protection measures?
First, keep the storage warehouse dry and control the humidity. Conditions allow for increased dehumidifiers or small fans to increase convection. When necessary, we can put some desiccant and the like, which can prevent the damage caused by the humid air back to the South.
Storage of chemicals or commodities containing high levels of oil and fat, such as salt, fertilizer, soap, sugar, cement, etc., should be prohibited in the storage warehouse. Kraft paper should not be placed together with items that are easily deliquescent, otherwise it will easily absorb moisture and deteriorate.
Second, regularly check whether the bottom card is damaged, and prevent the kraft paper from directly contacting the ground. The height of the card should be more than ten centimeters.
The card board uses a single plate instead of a strip. This can greatly reduce the direct contact surface of kraft paper and moist air to achieve moisture-proof effect.
Third, the perimembrane should be surrounded by solid, rather than only one layer to do form work. When the film is wrapped, the card is also synchronized, and the film is standardized. Whether it can block the contact between water vapor and kraft paper to a maximum extent plays a vital role.
If the whole kraft paper is unwrapped, it should be sealed with a film in time to reduce the contact time between kraft paper and humid air.
Fourth, the paper is placed, there should be a large gap between the cards to facilitate air circulation. After the day is cleared, the window can be opened to speed up the indoor air circulation and discharge the moisture in the warehouse.
The most important thing about kraft paper moisture protection is to plan ahead. As long as we finish the precautions and operate strictly according to the process, it is completely possible to avoid the occurrence of such things as kraft paper moisture.
