Print media refers to the materials that can be printed by the label printer. The shape of the media mainly includes ribbons, cards, and labels. The materials are mainly paper, synthetic materials and fabrics. The material that determines which ribbon to use is mainly the medium, which are described below:

Paper grades are classified into highlight, semi-high light and matt according to surface gloss.

Highlights: mirror copper plate, glossy paper, etc.

Semi-high light: coated paper.

Matte paper: offset paper.

Special papers include aluminum foil paper, fluorescent paper, and thermal/thermal transfer paper.

In general, high-gloss paper-based media are made of resin-reinforced wax-based ribbons or mixed-based ribbons, especially mirror-coated paper. Although it is called a copper plate, the surface is a layer of synthetic film, which should be treated as a synthetic material. . The types of ribbons available for semi-gloss paper are resin reinforced wax bases and general wax based ribbons. The matt class can only be used for printing.
