U.S. Chinese-American Professor Lin Yuyi changes trash into recycled fuel

The waste paper, straw stems, and corn sticks may be your garbage, but for the Chinese-born professor Lin Yuyi, it is a good material for compressing wood and making fuel.

According to the U.S. World News report, Lin Yuyi, an associate professor of the Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Missouri in the United States, saw the school throw out large amounts of waste paper every day. He thought he should have better use, so he tried to compress the paper with a hydraulic machine. I did not expect that what was pressed out was generally strong with wood. It was no better than being used for fuel.

In addition to waste paper, he also tried to compress the leaves, corn stems, straw stems and other unwanted things. The results were as good as they were. The pressed things were all solid and did not lose real wood.
Lin Yuyi gave him a good name for wood: renewable fuels. All of his renewable fuels are naturally occurring substances. He said that compared with petrochemical products, renewable fuels can also slow down the greenhouse effect, fully meet environmental protection requirements, and comply with the trend of the times. The best part is that recycled fuel is cheaper than wood used in fireplaces, as long as it is about one-third the price of wood.

In 1990, Lin Yuyi joined the University of Missouri "Coal Pipeline Research Center" to study how to compress coal, agricultural products, and garbage, which need to be transported by time and effort, and transport them to the country through underground pipelines in a time- and labor-saving manner. Later, Lin Yuyi applied the concept of compression to fuel. As a result, while the research on the underground pipeline produced results, his renewable fuel was also born.

It is reported that Lin Yuyi's laboratory compressor has already been tested and it has been proved that he can successfully produce renewable fuels. He is currently waiting for Bole and is looking forward to receiving funds to start large-scale production of his regenerative fuel.
