1, ceramic anilox roller
The use of ceramic anilox rolls for flexographic printing has been more than a decade old. It can be said that ceramic anilox rolls are a trump card for improving and stabilizing the quality of flexographic printing. Although chrome rollers and laser-engraved ceramic rollers have their own market, it is predicted that the large market is gradually turning to ceramic roller applications.
Initially, the ceramic roller causes poor printing due to the unevenness of the ink holes, and uneven roller thickness results in abnormal abrasion of the blade, or pinholes and the like. Now the ceramic roller has been able to maintain a stable quality, but the printing ink often occurs due to ink blocking and lighter or uneven failure, so the cleaning and management after printing can not be ignored. Once the clogging of the ink clogging occurs, ultrasonic cleaning can be used to restore the capacity of the ink cisterns and can be used as new.
Because of the superior hardness of the ceramic roller manufacturing process, there has been no report of deterioration of the anilox roller due to wear. So a ceramic roller has at least 10 years of wear resistance. On the face of it, the cost is higher than that of the chrome roll, but considering its durability, it is not only cheap, but also the image quality is greatly improved. In fact, the durability of the ceramic roller is completely unproblematic.
In addition, the ceramic roller can be renewed, and the diamond layer can be used to grind the ceramic layer and then sprayed. It is very easy to change the volume of the ink hole. Moreover, the ceramic anilox roller is engraved with a laser, so the ink hole capacity is changed. Convenient, according to the content of the printing selection of the number of lines and anilox roller suitable for ink hole capacity.
Recently, there have been used thinner thread anilox rolls. Anilox rollers of 1 inch 500 or 600 lines in Japan are also in use. However, although the number of anilox roller heights is beneficial to the improvement of the printing quality, the thinning of the anilox roller brings about a reduction in the capacity of ink holes. Along with this, the high density of the ink is required, and the density of the ink itself has a certain limit. In the general package printing, at least the ink cavity capacity of at least 3 cm3/m2 is required. The ceramic anilox roll is not only used in flexographic printing, but also can be used as a gravure solid printing roll, an ink fountain roll without an ink key printing machine, a coating roll for an adhesive or a coating, etc., due to its advantages of being hard to wear.
2. Closed ink scraping method
Flexo printing inks are controlled by a dual-roller extrusion method, an ordinary squeegee master, and a closed reversed squeegee method. In recent years, the latter has gradually increased. Extrusion can be used for high-density printing, but due to changes in printing speed and ink viscosity, the amount of ink transferred also changes, still easily lead to unstable print quality. Ordinary squeegee method is determined by the ink hole volume of the anilox roller to determine the amount of ink transfer, printing is more stable. Closed reverse ink scraping method, smooth mechanical operation, good ink roller compliance with printing speed, stable quality, is a more recent approach. However, the closed-type squeegee has a small degree of freedom in the contact angle and the degree of pressure, and requires high-precision and uniform squeegee contact and sealability. As long as there is something missing, white spots or ink leakage may occur.
The squeegee is now available in a variety of materials, including ordinary steel squeegees, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant screed squeegees, rust-proof chrome squeegees, stainless steel squeegees, and high-security plastic squeegees.
The biggest drawback of the closed type is the cleaning operation after printing, and the ink residue is quite time-consuming at the dead-end cleaning. Now dead rooms with less dead space and automatic cleaning devices have also been used.
3, sleeve way
The printing roller sleeve method developed by SIOK (Netherlands) is a symbolic technology for the rationalization of flexographic printing. In the case of nickel products with a sleeve thickness of 125k, the current plate cylinder is used after being ground to an air hole (processed into a cylinder) of 125k. Soon, a plastic sleeve was developed. The plastic sleeve can be duplicated due to its variable thickness, which reduces the plate cylinder. The inner diameter of the sleeve is based on the nickel sleeve and can be used interchangeably.
Recently, the sleeve of anilox roller will also be possible. According to the requirement, the anilox roller sleeve can be inserted into the most suitable anilox roller instantaneously, which will improve the quality and efficiency of flexographic printing.
4. The sticker is usually attached to the surface of the plate cylinder or sleeve with double-sided tape. It takes a long time and requires skilled operation. If the plate cylinder is scribed as a standard, then the visual inspection of the plate may be possible, but the accuracy of the plate may be affected. The semi-mirror-stamping machine has now become popular. The recently developed plate-mounting machine is equipped with a camera and a monitor screen. After confirming the position of the register line and the standard point (fine point), the plate is accurately attached. In addition, the use of positioning pin registration device as a simple sticker system, as long as the positioning pin is aligned with the baseline, you can determine the plate position, anyone can paste the plate in a short time.
Conclusion
It is foreseeable that by the 21st century, gravure printing and flexo printing will become an important topic in the water-based printing of film packaging materials, so as to truly enter the water-based fetal movement period.

A wooden crate has a self-supporting structure, with or without sheathing. For a wooden container to be a crate, all six of its sides must be put in place to result in the rated strength of the container. Crates are distinct from wooden boxes. The strength of a Wooden Box is rated based on the weight it can carry before the top (top, ends, and sides) is installed, whereas the strength of a crate is rated with the top in place. In general conversation, the term crate is sometimes used to denote a wooden box.
Although the definition of a wooden crate, as compared to a wooden box, is clear, construction of the two often results in a container that is not clearly a crate or a box. Both wooden crates and wooden boxes are constructed to contain unique items, the design of either a crate or box may use principles from both. In this case, the container will typically be defined by how the edges and corners of the container are constructed. If the sheathing (either plywood or lumber) can be removed, and a framed structure will remain standing, the container would likely be termed a crate. If removal of the sheathing results in no way of fastening the lumber around the edges of the container, the container would likely be termed a wooden box.
