2. Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene film is one of the most widely used and most used plastic films.
Polypropylene film is mostly suitable for food, textiles, paper products, pharmaceuticals and general chemical products. But polypropylene film is easy to aging, so it is not suitable for long-term outdoor printing.
The printing adaptability of polypropylene film is better, and the color printing is brighter, finer and better than polyethylene film. Especially suitable for relief printing effect.
3. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Polyvinyl chloride film is inexpensive and widely used. It can be divided into hard film and soft film according to the content of plasticizer added during film production.
Soft film is suitable for packaging of textiles, fresh meat, non-staple food, etc. The dura mater is suitable for window sealing of packaging and box packaging of clothing, general chemicals and beverages.
PVC has good printability, especially suitable for screen printing, good color fastness, bright and beautiful.
4. Polystyrene (PS)
Polystyrene film has high transparency and has high air permeability and moisture permeability. Especially suitable for packaging of products that require "breathing" such as vegetables and fresh fruits.
The printing suitability of PS film is better, which can adapt to both relief printing and gravure printing.
5. Cellophane
Cellophane has high transparency and high tensile strength. Because of its non-shrinkage, good heat sealing performance, and good mechanical operation adaptability, but due to its high price, its use has gradually decreased in recent years.
6. Polyester film (PET)
Polyester film is a higher-grade plastic film for packaging. Both letterpress and gravure printing have good suitability.
7. Ionic polymer film
Ionic polymer film has good temperature resistance, oil resistance and air tightness, and is non-toxic. It is suitable for packing objects with angles or heavier items packaged by gluing, and is widely used for food packaging.
8. Nylon film (PA)
This is a relatively expensive plastic film.
Its advantages are: colorless, non-toxic and transparent; high temperature resistance (1900C), low temperature resistance (-600C), and has significant performance of alkali resistance, organic deepening agent, oil; especially strong toughness, high bending strength, It is not easy to puncture, and it is easy to stretch and shape these characteristics after heating, which is difficult to compare with other films.
The disadvantages are: great moisture permeability, easy to wrinkle and deform after moisture absorption, and usually high air tightness, but when the temperature increases, the air tightness sharply weakens, etc.
9. Polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC)
This film is more expensive, but it has its uniqueness in food packaging. It can effectively prevent the deterioration and weight loss of water-containing foods due to the evaporation of water, and it will not make dry foods absorb moisture. Oxygenation and high-temperature sterilization of foods containing proteins and fats are packaged. This film has good printability.
10. Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)
Polyvinyl alcohol film, also known as vinylon film, has a higher specific gravity and is more expensive.
Suitable for food packaging and making plastic bags. Because it does not carry static electricity, it has good printability.
