Thermal printer print head cleaning method
The print head should be cleaned when the printer:
1. The printer cannot print clearly and the thermal paper is normal.
2. The length of the printer print page is not clear
3. The noise is too loud when discharging or printing.
The print head cleaning steps are as follows:
1. Turn off the printer and open the paper compartment cover. Remove the thermal paper.
2. If the printer has just finished printing, wait for the printhead to cool down.
3. Using a soft cotton cloth soaked in ethanol (make sure there is no dripping), gently wipe the thermal printhead to remove dust or dirt.
4. After waiting for the ethanol to completely evaporate, replace the thermal paper roll back in the printer and close the paper compartment cover, then print a test page.
Precautions
1. Before cleaning, you must ensure that the power is off
2. Keep your hands or other metal tools away from the printhead surface. Do not use tweezers or other sharp tools to avoid scratching the printhead surface and other sensitive parts.
3. Do not use petrol, acetone and other organic solvents for print head cleaning.
