Phenomenon: The user sent a PHOTO925 printer. When the front desk picks up the phone, the print head moves three times to the left and right. The LCD screen of the printer displays: "General error, please read your printer documentation, the ink is always on, not Carry out other tests." The online computer displays: "General error, please delete your printed document and restart the computer". After following the prompts, the fault still exists.

Maintenance method: After the printer was sent to the repair room, the engineer also did the above test and the result was the same. However, it was found that the remaining ink amount of the printer was normal (less ink).

1. Enter the adjustment program first, reset the EEPROM, and then restart the machine.

2. Suspected that the user's ink cartridge, print head or head cable is loose; it will be the print head, the cable is re-installed and turned on, the fault is still there. I also brought a brand new ink cartridge. After the replacement, the nozzle just returned to the position, and the LCD screen of the inkless printer is displayed: general error. At this point the ink status is full and the machine is not working.

3. Removed the new PHOTO925 motherboard, tested after replacement, and also reported an error. And after adjusting the sensor, light, and feeder of other parts of the machine, it still can't solve the problem.

Solution: After the above method is finished, at this time, the mountain is running out of water, and there is no way to go. When the machine gives an error, when the print head is moved to the left by hand, it can be removed to the left. After turning off the power and turning it on again and again, the print head can be moved to the left and the print head lock is not working properly. Push forward a little resistance so that the pump, pump attachment, scraper, head lock, all folded down, re-cleaned and wiped clean, the power-on printer began normal ink filling and completed. At this point, the display on the machine is normal, and it can be printed online. The fault is solved at this time.

Analysis: Because the printer is used for a long time in the pump, pump accessories, scraper, there is a lot of waste ink and dust around the head lock. When the nozzle is filled in the ink, the scraper moves forward to scrape the waste ink, and the resistance stops moving to make the other The gears can't rotate and the entire assembly doesn't work, and the printer reports an error.
