I had planned to share this a month or so ago, but I kept forgetting. During the summer, I made the twins a bunch of alphabet-themed lunches. They had just turned four and were about to start Reception, so I thought it would be a great way to help them review their phonics in a fun and creative way. We created each letter in alphabetical order and posted them on Facebook and Instagram.
See details of how we made all the alphabet-themed lunches and links to other fun ideas.

**A is for Apple**
We used apple slices for the letter A, along with carrots and raisins as decorations. It was simple but colorful and perfect for little ones.

**B is for Butterfly**
For the letter B, we used cheese slices and flapjack to form the shape. The butterfly’s wings were made from cucumber and tomato slices, adding a fresh and tasty touch.

**B is for Bag**
At first, I tried making a different lunch for each girl, but it got too time-consuming! This cute bag was made with pancake letters, cheese shapes, a grape button, and a small cake decoration on top. The girls loved it.

**B is for Bat and Ball**
This one was especially fun for my sporty eldest daughter. We used pancake and cheese letters again, with a cheese string racket and a banana handle. The ball was a tomato — it was both delicious and creative!

**C is for Cat**
The cat lunch was a hit! We used cheese and grape slices to form the letter C, with blueberries for eyes and cheese ears. The face was made from a hotdog sausage, which also went into the sandwich. It was adorable and tasty!

The girls really enjoyed these lunches, and the cat was definitely their favorite. They sat on the garden steps and pretended their cat lunches were talking to each other — it was such a sweet moment.
