I had planned to post this a few weeks ago but kept forgetting. During the summer, I made the twins a bunch of alphabet-themed lunches. They were just turning four and about to start school in Reception, so I thought it would be a great way to help them review their phonics. We created the letters in alphabetical order and shared them on Facebook and Instagram.

**A is for Apple**
We used apple slices as the letter A, with carrots and raisins for decoration. It was simple but colorful and perfect for little ones.
**B is for Butterfly**
Cheese slices and flapjack formed the letter B, while cucumber and tomato were used to make the butterfly’s wings. It looked really cute and was easy to assemble.
**B is for Bag**
I initially tried making a different lunch for each girl, but it got too time-consuming! This bag was adorable—made with pancake and cheese letters, a grape button, and a cake decoration on top. The girls loved it.
**B is for Bat and Ball**
Again, we used pancake and cheese letters. For the bat, I used cheese strings and a banana as the handle, while the ball was a tomato. It was a hit with my sporty older daughter.
**C is for Cat**
Cheese and grapes formed the letter C, with blueberries for eyes and cheese ears. The face was made from a hotdog sausage that was also in the sandwich. It was super cute and very creative.
I really enjoyed making these lunches, and the girls loved them too. Their favorite was the cat one—they sat on the garden steps and pretended their lunches were talking to each other.
