Packaging Design - Font Psychology

Text is one of the packaging designs. Any packaging is inseparable from the text. The eye-catching and vivid writing of the packaging is an important means to capture consumers' eyes and make the text on the packaging play a role in conveying product information and decoration.

Every typeface has its own expression, which makes people have different psychological feelings, so as to reflect their temperament, personality and beautiful expression. For example, the bold body has a bold and solemn feeling. The old song and the regular script have a dignified and straightforward expression. The imitation of Song and the running of the book have a clear and free interest; while the regular script has a simple and luxurious appearance. The Latin letter's bud is quite equivalent to the left-hand side of the Chinese character, and it also has a sense of simplicity. The printed form is equivalent to the old Song Dynasty script and has a dignified and clear feeling. Handwriting is equivalent to imitation song, line, grass, a relaxed and lively body.

Font types are mainly divided into: writing, printing, and art.
Writing body : Oracle - there is a sense of primitive simplicity, freedom; Daxie - there is a sense of ancient Shu, elegant; Xiao Yi - a mellow, rich feeling; Lishu - a sense of dignified and change; Shu - rigorous and generous; cursive - Vibrant and lively; running - smooth and elegant.

Fine art fonts : Mainly also referred to as Chinese characters and Latin alphabets. These fonts are decorative art characters that will appear exaggerated and deformed, giving them more vividness and flexibility.
