
I. Overview
This instrument is specially designed and manufactured according to the requirements of the petrochemical national standard GB/T 5332 "Test method for flammable liquid and gas ignition temperature". It is suitable for determining the ignition temperature (auto-ignition temperature) of chemically pure flammable liquids and gases at atmospheric pressure in air.
The instrument is provided with heaters of different powers from the metal high temperature furnace, the furnace body and the bottom and upper cover of the furnace body. In order to adapt to the user's test of high temperature samples, a stainless steel 200ml Erlenmeyer flask was specially added for the test of samples higher than 200 °C.
Because the instrument adopts the intelligent digital display temperature controller, the temperature in the whole furnace is more uniform, the temperature tracking effect is good, and the heating speed is fast, so as to save the user's test time.
In order to facilitate the user to observe the ignition situation in the hole, the main heating furnace is specially equipped with a mirror, and the angle of the mirror can be adjusted to observe the ignition condition.

Third, installation and use
After the instrument is unpacked, it will be installed and debugged after it has been damaged by visual inspection. Please read this installation manual carefully before installation.
1. Place the instrument in a stable position and plug the white power cable on the right rear of the main unit into the indoor power socket. (Note! The middle hole of the three-core power socket is the grounding wire and must be grounded reliably to ensure personal safety; the left hole “N†is zero line and the right hole “L†is phase line.)
2. Insert the main body heating and bottom heating three-core black power cord in the lower part of the electric furnace into the three-core hole below the left rear part of the main unit.
3. Insert the three-core blue power cable on the upper part of the electric furnace into the three-core hole on the left rear part of the main unit.
4. Insert the inserts on the “KJ1â€, “KJ2†and “KJ3†thermocouples at the rear of the electric furnace into the terminals on the rear of the electric control box. (Note that the positive and negative poles cannot be inserted incorrectly, the general red color is positive), and the nut on the binding post is tightened.
5. First take out the upper cover (neck heater) of the heating electric furnace, and place the random bottom electric furnace porcelain cover piece in the middle of the bottom electric furnace plate. There are two thermocouples in the electric furnace, which are the neck thermocouple and the bottom thermocouple. The first half of the two thermocouples should be completely in contact with the top and bottom of the flask, so the two thermocouples are turned off first. Place the 200ml white steel flask of the instrument in the upper middle position of the cover sheet, and then connect the two thermocouples to the top and bottom of the flask respectively, adjust and make contact, then put the upper cover into the upper cover. The hole just happened to get stuck in the flask. (In the upper cover of the heating electric furnace, a slightly smaller electric furnace porcelain cover piece has been built in, and the user only needs to place a slightly larger electric furnace porcelain cover piece on the bottom center of the electric furnace, and 2 pieces of porcelain cover pieces are configured by the user. 1 spare) (In addition to the test below 200 ° C, glass flasks can be used for tests above 200 ° C, stainless steel Erlenmeyer flasks must be used)
6. Turn on the “Power†switch and the machine will start. Open the "main body" switch, the "main body heating" temperature control table displays the current temperature of the main part of the electric furnace; open the "neck" switch, the "neck heating" temperature control table displays the current temperature of the electric furnace neck; open the "bottom" switch, The "bottom heating" temperature gauge displays the current temperature at the bottom of the furnace. Press the “ †setting button on the corresponding digital display, then press the “▼†button and the “▲†button to set the desired temperature point, then press the “ †setting button on the digital display to store the temperature. The digital display shows the current temperature in the bath. (The temperature controller is set at the optimal temperature control state at the factory, and the user does not have to make other settings). When the indicator light on the watch flashes, it indicates that the temperature in the bath is close to the constant temperature. According to the standard requirements, different ignition mediums are used for the test, and different ignition temperatures should be set according to the standard.
7. At this time, the test can be carried out according to the standard. During the heating process, the surface temperature of the electric furnace is high. Please lift the neck heating power cord of the upper cover to the small armrest next to the mirror to prevent the power cord from being burnt at a high temperature.
8. After heating or after the instrument is turned off, if you want to lift the upper cover of the heating furnace, you can insert the handle of the instrument into the double protruding hole of the upper cover to lift the upper cover.
9. In order to maintain a large loss of temperature during the initial heating process, a blind cover is specially provided, and the upper opening of the furnace body can be covered to maintain the temperature during the test.
10. The neck and bottom thermocouples must be adjusted for perennial use and per use, which may cause damage. For this purpose, the instrument is specially equipped with a special thermocouple (both neck and bottom) for the user. Ready to use.
The following is an excerpt from the test procedures in the GB/T5332 standard for reference.
1. Preparation before the test: Check whether the circuit and the injection system are in good condition, prepare the sample, and the liquid sample should be placed in a closed container. When the boiling point of the sample is close to room temperature, it is necessary to ensure that the sample is in the state before being injected into the flask. When determining the ignition temperature of a toxic sample, the test shall be carried out in a fume hood.
2. Adjust the temperature: adjust the temperature of the furnace to make the flask reach the required temperature and ensure that the temperature is uniform.
3, injection sample
3.1. Liquid sample: After repeatedly washing the cleaned syringe or pipette with the sample, inhale the required amount of sample, and inject the sample vertically into the bottom center of the cone test flask as quickly as possible at a uniform rate. Then immediately withdraw the syringe or pipette, the whole operation should be completed within 2s, avoiding wetting the bottle wall when injecting.
3.2. Gas sample: First fill the gas sample with the syringe and its connection system, and then repeatedly flush the injection sample system with the test gas, and then inhale the required amount of gas sample. Insert a right-angled glass tube vertically into the center of the flask, inject a gas sample at a rate of approximately 25 ml/s, maintain the speed as stable as possible during the injection, and then withdraw the right-angled glass tube from the flask as soon as possible.
3.3. Initial sample dosage: In the initial test, the liquid sample amount is 0.07 ml, and the gas sample amount is 20 ml.
4. Observation and timing: The timer is started immediately after the sample is completely injected into the flask. When a flame and/or explosion occurs, the timer should be stopped immediately, and the corresponding temperature and ignition delay time should be recorded. If the above phenomenon does not occur, stop the timer and stop the test by 5 min.
5. Wash the flask: At the end of each test, thoroughly purge the residual gas from the flask with clean, dry air. If there is any adsorbent in the bottle, replace the flask in time.
6. Continuity test: Repeat steps 2 to 5 at different temperatures with different sample sizes. The test at the ignition temperature should be carried out at a temperature difference of 2 °C until the lowest temperature at which ignition occurs.
7. Confirmation test: The last set of tests should be repeated 5 times. If none of them are ignited, the test is terminated.
8. Determination of ignition temperature: If the test result satisfies the requirements of Chapter 7 (Validity of test results) in the standard, then the lowest temperature at which ignition occurs in the test described in Chapter 5 (Test Procedure) of the standard. It should be recorded as the ignition temperature, and the corresponding ignition delay time and atmospheric pressure should be recorded.
Fourth, matters needing attention
1. The instrument should be stored in a dry and ventilated place, not allowed to be stored in a humid and corrosive atmosphere, and should not be exposed to moisture.
2. The instrument must be connected to a safe ground wire before use.
3, the instrument works for a long time, is a high temperature furnace, so the working environment must be well ventilated and dry to reduce the temperature of the motor and the host.
4, the mains voltage can not be high or low, otherwise it will affect the temperature control accuracy.
5. The neck and bottom electric porcelain cover sheets are randomly arranged. The outer dimensions are slightly different. The smaller diameter can be used for neck replacement. The slightly larger diameter can be used for bottom replacement.
6. Due to frequent dialing of the neck and bottom thermocouple, it is inevitable that the thermocouple will be damaged for a long time, because this instrument is specially equipped with one thermocouple. When replacing the thermocouple, please turn the high temperature furnace on the desktop first. The screw on the bottom of the solid thermocouple is loosened, and then the bottom cast iron bottom cover is removed, the damaged thermocouple can be slowly pulled out, the new thermocouple is inserted and adjusted, and the two thermocouples are the same size. Then cover the bottom cover.
7. If the instrument fails, please ask the professional to repair it. Do not disassemble it. If the fault cannot be eliminated, please inform the company of the fault phenomenon in detail so that it can be repaired in time.
V. Fault analysis and elimination
If the instrument fails during use, it should be repaired by the relevant technical personnel. Do not disassemble it at will.
1. Turn on the power switch. If the instrument is not displayed, it is a power failure. Check whether the power supply has power. Then check if the fuse is blown, find out the cause of the fault, and replace the fuse. (Fuse 10A)
2. If the heating indicator is on, the bath will not heat up. Check if the heating tube is burnt. If it is blown, it should be replaced with two (1000W).
3. If the heating indicator light is not on, the temperature in the bath is continuously heated, and the temperature is not controlled. The instrument is always in the over-temperature protection state. The over-temperature indicator light is on, generally the two-way thyristor (BTA26.600B) is short-circuited and should be replaced. Two-way thyristor.
