(4) When checking the installed blanket, if the liner is displaced, wrinkled, or there is debris in the blanket, the blanket should be removed for processing. (5) When loading and unloading the blanket, it should be operated by two people to prevent accidents. (6) After loading and unloading the blanket, check immediately whether all the used tools are in good condition to prevent accidents caused by tools falling into the printing machine. **Precautions** (1) Adjust the pressure between the blanket cylinder, the plate cylinder, and the impression cylinder respectively, and use the minimum pressure under the premise of satisfying normal printing. This helps extend the service life of the blanket. (2) The tightness should be appropriate. The degree of tightness has a significant impact on the elasticity and elongation of the blanket, especially for air-cushioned blankets. Too much tension can reduce the compressibility of the air-cushion layer. (3) A bad condition of the blanket can cause printing failure. Long-term contact of the surface of the blanket with ink can cause solvents to penetrate the rubber layer and cause swelling. After the blanket swells, the flatness error increases, resulting in inconsistent footprints, and the blanket should be replaced. (4) If corners, double sheets, wrinkles, or foreign matter on the paper enter between the rollers, excessive plastic deformation can occur in the layout of the eraser, causing the corresponding parts of the print to become light or missing. (5) When the blanket is not severely damaged, it can be repaired on its underlying paper. If it is severely damaged, the blanket should be replaced. (6) If foreign matter such as paper dust or dust adheres to the blanket, these materials will be transferred to the plate cylinder or impression cylinder, causing dirt on the printed product and reducing the quality of the printed product.
